The installer has been updated to support the latest gitorious version but we just need
to update it to use the "v3.0" tag from mainline. We're ironing out the last
blockers for 3.0 release this week so we'll hopefully tag it and release the installer in
few days.

I am not directly involved in the installer so I can't really answer
