Hi Richard, If you have to install the old version, you can clone the master branch of ce-installer and checkout a9d7294bb14376d05f1ab5a377ddab0e094216aa , then follow the installation guide. This is the last commit that uses v2.4.11 and it works, but I would strongly recommend you to install the v3 version on a fresh machine if that option is possible for you.
