Hey there, First of all I'd like to thank you for this great product ! We are using it for a while now (2.4), are very happy with it, and had very little issues with it until recently, when rescue stopped working after a failure, and not coming up ever since.
I wanted to upgrade to 3.0 for a while now, and I figured it would be better doing it now, and not bothering with fixing 2.4 I've installed Gitorious 3.0 on a clean CentOS 6.4 using the ce-installer. LDAP integration wasn't working as expected, so I've upgraded to the latest developers version using the upgrade.sh script, and now it works. I still have a number of issues with the installation : 1) When running with enable_project_approvals: true, Collaborators are not able to create new repositories, and are getting a "Sorry, only repository admins are allowed to do that" message. I've also transferred ownership to the proper LDAP group. Collaborators are able to manage Project's permissions, even making it private/public. In version 2.4 it wasn't the case, so I am guessing it is some sort of bug. 2) I am getting no email notifications on watched items. Tried when setting is on and off. I guess mail settings are defined properly, for I am getting messages sent between members, and server exceptions. 3) In /var/log/messages every minute appears : Mar 1 00:27:44 gitorious30 git-daemon[4853]: Connection from 127.0.0.1:56340 Mar 1 00:27:44 gitorious30 git-daemon[4853]: The remote end hung up unexpectedly Mar 1 00:27:44 gitorious30 git-daemon[2321]: [4853] Disconnected (with error) 4) LDAP groups list 0 members even though I am running with enable_ldap_group_member_listing: true Your help would be appreciated, especially with 1 and 2 Thanks, Elad. -- -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Gitorious" group.
