Hello all

Improvements that developers have made in Gitx v0.7 are welcome.

However, it looks like we lost the ability to select a part of a line in the Commit diff view. This was making it possible to copy+paste identifiers when composing the commit message.

Would it be possible to restore the partial select of a line, along with copy and paste ?

I also have used the ability to select the path to the file listed at the top of the Commit View.

This ability to select text is also no longer present in 0.7.

My use cases include using the selected text in the commit message and also opening the file in an editor in a command line invocation.

After resetting the default application for the type of source code files I was committing I am now using the contextual menu command "Open File".

It would be nice to have the contextual menu open up after a settable delay -- to work-around having to find the ctrl-key for the keyboard-challenged among us.

I also would be nice to be open a selected file in the Commit View with command-downarrow (same as what the Finder uses to open a selected file).
