well really (i think there may be dif. opions but my halacha rabbi told us this) ur suppose to ask someone for forgiveness like seriously and if they dont forgive u ur suppose to ask 2 more times (a total of 3 times) in 2 different settings and also it has to be really sincere and if the person still wont forgive u then u can just forget about it and its their prob. for holding the grudge
