Dear GKD Members, GKD is holding a consultation on the digital divide initiative of the G8 states. The G-8 is expected to announce countermeasures at their Summit in Genoa, Italy, in July 2001, to address the digital divide. How will we regard the measures that the G-8 will undertake in response to the consultation which we provided? Or perhaps they will not undertake what we hope for, despite our consultation?
