I have been reading the contributions to this discussion with great
interest, and would like to take this opportunity to point out information
resources from my organization, the International Trade Centre, that may be
useful to participants in this discussion.

Over the past year, ITC conducted extensive research and consultation on
the subject of e-trade for developing countries. E-commerce experts and
trade professionals from around the world contributed their views in our
annual Executive Forum event, as well as through a series of e-mail based
discussions.

Our latest issue of our magazine summarizes the conclusions of this
research, and ITC's resulting e-trade strategy. We've just made it
available on-line at http://tradeforum.org

Much of the research is available at http://www.intracen.org/execforum,
including a PDF version of the book, Export Development in the Digital
Economy; research papers and journalistic summaries of a preparatory
brainstorming meeting; and a record of the e-discussions.

We would very much appreciate your feedback and views.
