One approach would be to use "donate now" buttons on an internet site. You will still need an institutional "backend" to legally receive and disburse funds. The easiest approach would be to append this internet function to an existing orgnaization or create some kind of partnership. See <http://www.helping.org/register/> for AOL's solution (there are others) and see <www.libertyunites.org> for how this is working to raise funds for the Red Cross and other organizations.
