I am very interested in this activity. In Cameroon, as part of activties
of association Presse Jeune, my organisation, we created an ICT program
for youth with trainings, Internet club at school, lobbying,
information, education and communication on ICT for youth, etc. We view
ICT as an instrument for youth participation. This is the first time in
the history that technologies are taught by children to parents. You can
easily understand the importance of this in Africa where because of
tradition, young people don't participate. But a good project on ICT for
youth must take into consideration the need of equipments, trainings,
etc. ICT must not be an isolated question because all youth problems are
linked.
