I just took a look at the page.  It is probably a good idea to update your
perl extension, as the one you have there seems to rely on a patched
version of libglade-0.0.3.  For libglade >= 0.2, I added some functions to
help write language bindings for libglade (I have written one that is
included in the latest version of my pygtk package).
