I can't reproduce this. Can you describe it in more detail starting with a
new project.
Is the problem in Glade or in the resulting source code?
Do you have the Gnome support option turned on?
What icons are you using - stock Gnome icons or your own icons?

Use the lookup_widget() function to get a pointer to the widget.
