Whilst a large scattering of windows is not my preferred strategy, I don't
think its a problem, so long as only those windows relevant to the current
context are shown at any time. In other words, if you look at a dialog, all
the dialog related windows are visible. If you switch to a source file, all
the dialog related windows disappear and only the code related ones are
visible. A window-heavy solution that does not do this would be rather
confusing. Even on an 2048x1536 screen, too many windows is just plain
confusing, and many have to overlap.
