Okay, but i can't make the change. If dock items were made children of
the app (which i now see is a bad idea), it could be done easily since
dock_build_children() is passed a pointer to the parent widget. I don't
know how to get a pointer to the app to the function, so i'll just hope
James Henstridge agrees and makes the change.
