Did you solve this?
What does 'gnomedb-config --libs' output?
(It is possible that your version of Glade isn't compatable with your version
of gnome-db.)

You need to install gettext, or make sure its .m4 files can be found by
aclocal (see Glade's FAQ for a bit about this.)
