FWIW,
I also prefer 4 charachter indent & opening braces on the same
line as the opening statement, its just that the large majority of the
code already uses the other style for whatever historical reasons.
I think we all favor consistancy more than we want to argue
for a prefered style, personaly I dont want to go to the trouble
of changing it ;-)
