Adeline Koh was one of the big influencers who got me interested in Wikipedia a few years ago, especially as the gender gap relates to the digital humanities. It looks like she's at Stockton University in NJ near Atlantic City. Not sure if she's an active Wiki person anymore, but she would be great.
I also recommend Heather Hart from Black Lunch Table, though I'm not sure of her availability. Heather has been doing a great unheralded job with her initiative, which is focused on Visual artists of the African Diaspora and the gender gap. She has been actively conducting editathons across North America, with plans to do outreach internationally in the next year. She has presented at Wikipedia Day 2017 and at the recent unconference for Women Journalists that was at ThoughtWorks NYC shortly after the Inauguration.
