Hi GLAMmers, A quick note to let you know that the Dutch Museum Catharijneconvent just donated over 2.500 images to Wikimedia Commons. Their collection consists of paintings, sculptures, object, textile, etc, all related to christian history, art and culture.
A big shout out to Husky <https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Husky> for developing and running the upload-script. It's a rather unique donation (for as far as I know), they are high res TIF files, and there often are multiple pictures of details of paintings and objects. We are curious to see if and how these will be used. The pictures can be found here <https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Media_contributed_by_Museum_Catharijneconvent>. I made a sub-category with their top pieces, these can be found here <https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Items_from_the_Catharinazaal>. It would be great if these would be put to good use.
