This yearβs theme, Wikimania at 20: Inclusivity. Impact. Sustainability., celebrates two decades of collaboration and innovation within our movement.
The Call for Program Proposals is now open, and we strongly encourage you to submit proposals relevant to our theme on or before the 31 March 2025 deadline. Whether you choose to present onsite in Nairobi, remotely, or through a pre-recorded session, we value your insights and expertise. We welcome all creative and impactful ideas. Here are some examples of sessions that may resonate with the conference theme and GLAM-Wikimedia collaboration: β Approaches to increasing accessibility in galleries, libraries, archives, and museums through Wikimedia projects. β Showcasing successful collaborations between cultural institutions and Wikimedia communities, including their effect on public engagement and knowledge sharing. β Discussions on preserving cultural heritage digitally and ensuring its long-term availability.
