There are some great images there  thank you - but the metadata is
thin, and that has in the past caused complaints from the commons
community, when large numbers of images are uploaded.

For instance:

   
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:CSIRO_ScienceImage_1008_Discharging_ballast_water.jpg

is categorised as "Shipping industry in Australia" and "Pests in
Australia" - the dormer is a red link, and the latter applies to the
associated text, but not the image - and that text doesn't really
describe the image, either.

In:

    
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:CSIRO_ScienceImage_1038_Alcides_metaurus_Uraniidae.jpg

which is categorised as "Insects in Australia", a better category is
in the file name: "Alcides metaurus".

While I'd be content to host such images on Commons pending
categorisation, and to run activities crowdsourcing such categories -
and while this is a useful learning exercise - others may not.
