Hi everyone, In the upcoming weeks, Lizzy Jongma and Esther Doornbusch from the Rijksmuseum will do a GWtoolset upload of approx. 2.600 new images of artworks (mainly prints, drawings, some objects, hopefully also some old public domain photographs!) from the Rijkmuseum collection, featuring birds. (This is part of a ‘bird identification’ activity on 4 Oct at the Rijks, for which we will create a project/info page this week!) I will assist them in this process. This will also be my first GWtoolset upload.
Lizzy has the username LizzyJongma. Esther has E.Doornbusch. My own username is Spinster. Can someone on this list give us three the necessary permissions for Commons beta and Commons for using the GWtoolset? Thank you :-) It’s always possible that, despite doublechecking, a small selection of these images will already be on Commons. If I remember well, Commons and/or the GWtoolset warns if an image is an exact duplicate?
