I had 2.09 working on AIX boxes (Power/PowerPC), but had
no luck with 4.x (maybe due to the new RTS).

I'd like to build a "portable" version too (for AIX),
is there a simple recipe for it? From that it would be
probably easier to try to get a "registerised" version for
Power/PowerPC again.
