I noticed (and already reported: is this fixed in the new install script,
Sigs?) this too: it seems that they're installed in "lib", ghc looks
for them in "lib", but mkDependHS looks for them in "lib/hslibs".
I just hacked mkdepend, myself; it may or may not be the Right Thing, but
it seemed to work.
