Hi all. More configuration irritations... I ran configure on a machine
with version 3.7.2.3 of gcc, then later tried to make on a different
machine, with only version 3.7.2. It crunched looking for cpp in the wrong
place, unsurprising. However, even after deleting config.cache,
rerunning configure, and then re-doing gnumake boot, it _still_ insisted
on looking for cpp in the wrong place. Where is it hiding this gcc
version information so furtively and tenaciously?

Alex.
