This is really not a bug report, but I did not
want to broadcast my question to all glasgow-haskell-users
and waste a lot of peoples bandwidth...
If one wised to port ghc to a new platform there
would seem to be a bootstrapping problem - that is,
the installation guide seems to indicate that one
needs a working version of ghc to build ghc.
Is it true that one must have a working version
of ghc on a new in order to port it to that platform
or is there a "starters-kit" with which one can
start such a port?
