No, and thanks for the diagnosis. I had unwittingly untared the 3.02
source on top of the 3.01 source. Starting again with a clean source tree
fixed this problem.
The next stumble was on lib/posix/PosixProcPrim.lhs, which gave a
"register spilled" error from gcc. Adding -monly-2-regs to
PosixProcPrim_HC_OPTS in the Makefile in this directory fixes this (but
-monly-3-regs does not). I am using gcc version 2.7.2.3.
I don't know yet if the build succeeded, I've left it running at home.
