If have exactly the same bug as described by fis.
 It occurs while building ghc 3.02 on Solaris 2.5
 or 2.6. 
 
 The message is:

 That is, I think, the new build ghc produces a bus
 error. We tried building ghc 3.02 via 3.01 as well as ghc2.10. By the way, running 
autoconf leads to:
