No, it's had this memory, disk and motherboard for about a year now. It's
also been used for some fairly heavy compilation tasks (6502 emulator)
and has performed without troubles.

I take it I don't need to worry about the environment (if hsc makes any
use of the many environmental variables floating about, then debugging
would be a real pain).

BTW, "./configure --enable-from-hc && make boot && make all" fails with
a missing file.

ps I have an old DEC alpha machine (Jensen, 150MHz, 32MB RAM) running
Linux, what are the chances of bootstrapping ghc (for alpha) with this?
