I am trying to compile the ghc CVS tree of about June 5, 1999
(ghc-4.04-pre ?)
with ghc-4.02-linux-i386 for linux-i386.
./configure ...
make boot
edit mk/build: -optCrts-G3 -optCrts-F1.5 -optCrts-M112m ...
make all
This yields:

What might this mean?
Another similar attempt caused in addition
Action: writeChunks
parser/Parser.o ... "no such file or directory"
After all this, find ... -name 'Parser*' shows
...ghc/compiler/parser/Parser.y
...ghc/compiler/parser/Parser.hs
...ghc/compiler/parser/Parser.hi
...ghc/tests/programs/andy_cherry/Parser.lhs
- ".hi" ready, ".o" not produced.
The remained disk space is 63M byte.
