There may be bootstrapping problems when building GHC with a snapshot
(post-4.06) build, because we only support the following scenarios:
- bootstrapping GHC with a released version
- bootstrapping GHC with itself (ie. built from
exactly the same sources)
Supporting bootstrapping with all snapshots would require bumping a vesrion
number every time we made a breaking change to libraries etc., so we don't
do that.
