-funbox-strict-fields doesn't work right in 5.00.2, and isn't supported.
Get rid of the flag and things might improve. For more details, see the
5.00.2 known-bugs-and-workarounds page at
http://haskell.cs.yale.edu/ghc/faq_500.html
-funbox-strict-fields _does_ work right in the head branch, so future
releases of the compiler should be ok with it.
