Hi!
I haven't been able to build ghc from cvs for some time now. What happens
is the following:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
==fptools== make all -wr;
in /local/fptools/ghc/rts
------------------------------------------------------------------------
../../ghc/compiler/ghc-inplace -optc-O -optc-O2 -optc-fomit-frame-pointer
-optc-Wall -optc-W -optc-Wstrict-prototypes -optc-Wmissing-prototypes
-optc-Wmissing-declarations -optc-Winline -optc-Waggregate-return
-optc-Wbad-function-cast -optc-Wcast-align -optc-DCOMPILING_RTS -ldl
-I../includes -I. -Iparallel -O2 -DCOMPILING_RTS -static -c Adjustor.c
-o Adjustor.o
ghc-5.03: /local/fptools/ghc/driver/package.conf.inplace:1: parse error on
input `['
This strikes me as very odd. Am I doing anything wrong?
I don't know what kind of info that would be useful for you to track down
this one. Anyhow, I'm on a sparc running solaris, I've used a less recent
ghc from cvs to compile, happy is 1.11 .
/Josef
