I don't quite follow.  When compiling
gtk/Graphics/UI/Gtk/General/Signals.hs did you specify -ohi
gtk/Graphics/UI/Gtk/General/Signals.hi?

I agree it looks like a warning should have gone off earlier, but I
can't tell exactly where yet.
