What are you trying to achieve? Did you compile parts with ghc-6.6 and ghc-6.6.1? (That may explain the crash.) If you have installed my binary distribution you don't need to compile the sources anymore (except for the sake of testing). NB: My binary was able to bootstrap3 itself on my system (darwin8.9.1, is this OS X 10.4?) If my binary is not working (for some reason) you should completely remove it, reinstall ghc-6.6, and rebuild ghc-6.6.1 from sources (using ghc-6.6).
