Hi, This was encountered on a shared hosting server,
% uname -a Linux box29.bluehost.com 2.6.19-1_3.BHsmp #1 SMP Mon Jan 15 07:50:58 MST 2007 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I can provide username and password information for the account if someone really wants to chase this. I was attempting an in-place compile of the latest using a local directory binary distribution install with some user generated symbolic links. I have since migrated servers to, Linux cottonspace.com 2.6.16.29-xen #3 SMP Sun Oct 15 13:15:34 BST 2006 x86_64 GNU/Linux running Ubuntu 6.06.1 LTS and no longer require to compile from source for what I am working with for now. Thanks for following this up, Rahul On Mon, 07 May 2007 10:46:32 -0000, "GHC" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> said: > #1073: ghc-6.7: internal error: R_X86_64_PC32 relocation out of range > --------------------------------------+------------------------------------- > Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Owner: > Type: bug | Status: new > Priority: normal | Milestone: 6.8 > Component: Compiler | Version: 6.7 > Severity: normal | Resolution: > Keywords: relocation | Difficulty: Unknown > Os: Linux | Testcase: > Architecture: x86_64 (amd64) | > --------------------------------------+------------------------------------- > Comment (by simonmar): > > Can anyone reproduce this?
