 The "failed to load interface" errors are clear enough, though maybe
 something along the lines of "Unable to initialize GHCi: required package
 'base' is hidden" would be better.  It just shouldn't be reporting that
 this is a bug in GHC when clearly an attempt to run ghci with necessary
 libraries hidden is a case of PEBKAC.
