Comment:

 However, just to add, DPH is ''very much'' in our sights as an active
 project.  We are working hard on getting something usable into GHC 6.10
 (although it may still not be very performant).  And we won't stop
 there... we have invested lots of effort to getting where we are, and we
 won't be satisfied until we have DPH running on multicores with serious
 speedups.   It's just taking longer than we thought!
