Unfortunately I'm only able to build using macports and I looked into
trying a build that way for 6.10.1 and it is far too involved for the time
I have available for Haskell (I got here just wanting to use darcs...).
Interestingly I did retry a clean build for ghc 6.8.3 using macports and
it works fine now (both PPC and Intel 32bit)! Since macports didn't
change I have to assume that some Leopard update did the trick. The PPC
build is now 10.5.4 (darwin 9.4.0) and the Intel build is 10.5.5 (darwin
9.5.0).
