It is possible to derive instance of Functor, Foldable and Traversable, as
outlined in [http://www.mail-archive.com/haskell-
[email protected]/msg02116.html].
I would request that support for this be added to GHC, also in the hopes
that these derivings can become part of the standard in the future.
