Alright, I have a tarball that exhibits the nasty behavior we're seeing,
but unfortunately Trac's file size limit is too small for me to attach it.

On our machines with 6.10.1, this goes over 2GB in 3-4 minutes, which hits
swap. I usually kill it at that point.
