Comment:

 Thanks for reporting this, but it saves work for you (uploading a test
 case) if you search Trac first for dups: in this case #3643, #3635, #3611,
 #3477 etc.

 It's certainly a bug (GHC should never crash), but fixed in 6.12.
 Meanwhile rm *.hi
