The "windows" version cannot be used under Cygwin, because it does not
behave like the "Linux" version and it does not recognize /cygdrive/<path>
etc.
The proper Cygwin port will behave exactly like Linux one, so closing this
bug report as a duplicate of "Windows" is not warreanted.
These two are different platforms.
