Thanks! I've applied the first, large patch.
The second one I agree isn't so clear cut. I think adding record accessors
is something that ought to go via the
[http://www.haskell.org/haskellwiki/Library_submissions library
submissions] process.
I think the first patch is sufficient to close this ticket.
