OK `Trampoline-small.hs` is now fine. So I believe that the new type
checker has fixed the problem.
Can you try on your main example with the HEAD (or with the release
candidate we put out at the end of next week)?
I'll move the ticket to 'infoneeded'
I've added your code the the regression suite.
