Oh, bother! Trouble is, I can't reproduce it, because I can't build
hmatrix automatically; and if I do so by hand I get the configure error.
I'm adding Alberto in cc, since it's his package. Alberto: might you fix
this?
Let's see. Can you send the exact sequence of steps you use once you have
built your compiler from source?
And when yo do the `./setup build` step, can you use `-v` and send the
output?
