Is there a canonical example of this bug? If you can tell me which ghc
version shows it I can look at it, since I have access to both 10.5
(x86_64) and 10.6 (x86/x86_64) systems.
If you'd like, I can take this bug since I've been "thinkin' about
linkin'".
