I'm a little confused: Can you reproduce this problem?
If so, if you are able to remove dependencies on other packages (e.g. does
it still happen if you just print messages, rather than using hsyslog?),
that would make it easier for us to look into.
If it only happened once, then there's not much we can do without a way to
reproduce it.
