#5013: sporadic failures during compilation under solaris

from time to time my compilations fail with errors like

Failed to load interface for `Data.Map':
There are files missing in the `containers-0.4.0.0' package,
try running 'ghc-pkg check'.
Use -v to see a list of the files searched for.
}}}
"ghc-pkg check" reports no problem and simply repeating the compilation
fixes the problem. May this be a timing problem over nfs?
