I've had a look at `fannkuchredux` and I can't see any slow down, either
non-threaded or threaded `-N4`.
If you still think there's a regression, can you please give complete
reproduction instructions (i.e. the code being compiled, the compilation
commandline, and the command used to run the program), the platform you're
on, and the figures you're getting.
