 This probably changed in
 changeset:7828bf3ea2ea34e7a3a8662f5f621ef706ffee5c

 I think GHC is doing the right thing: `-fno-code` stops after
 typechecking, which is correct since you asked for no code, and it's what
 clients like Haddock need.
