Doing a `validate --slow`, ATLoop failed with

ghc: panic! (the 'impossible' happened)
(GHC version 7.3.20110803 for x86_64-unknown-linux):

It might be because stage2 is built with `DEBUG`, running a vanilla
`validate` now.
